Privacy and local storage

Photos are selected from your device and processed in your browser. The converter does not upload your photos, original filenames, stitch grid or private PDF to a server.

What is saved

The current pattern is saved in this browser’s IndexedDB storage. It contains the stitch grid, color key, settings and project dates. It does not contain the original photo. Original photo pixels stay in the current editor session so you can change the crop and reconvert.

The automatic save holds one current project. Browser cleanup, private browsing, quota limits or a different browser can make it unavailable. Download a JSON backup for work you want to keep. Backups and PDFs are saved to the download location you choose.

What the browser requests

The browser downloads the website code, the bundled symbol font and any built-in sample you choose. These resources come from this site. There are no analytics scripts, advertising pixels, session recordings or third-party font requests in the converter.

The website is hosted using Sites, with Cloudflare infrastructure. Hosting providers receive ordinary web requests, including network information such as an IP address, to deliver and protect the website. Google Search Console reports search performance; it does not require an analytics script or uploading your pattern.

The hosting network may set short-lived security cookies to distinguish ordinary visitors from automated abuse. These are used to protect the website, not to store your photos or patterns.

Removing local data

To remove the autosaved pattern, clear this site’s storage in your browser settings. Closing or leaving the editor releases its in-memory photo. Delete downloaded backups and PDFs using your device’s file manager if you no longer want them.

What a backup reveals

A backup includes the complete pattern and color values. Anyone you give the file to can read it. There is no public sharing link or cloud account in this version.
